26th Annual Conference

Montreal, Canada
NextGen Class XV - June 14, 2026

The International Insolvency Institute will convene its 26th Annual Conference in Montreal, Canada, on June 14-16, 2026. Judicial and Academic Committee Meetings and the Class XV NextGen Program will take place on Sunday, June 14.

The Annual Conference remains the premier international insolvency conference for insolvency practitioners, academics, and members of the judiciary.

This year, the Program Committee and NextGen Program Committee have curated a dynamic and thought-provoking series of panels addressing the most pressing trends, challenges, and questions shaping the global insolvency landscape.  The III also invites you to an unforgettable Legendary Dinner at Montreal’s celebrated Theatre St-James, an extraordinary former bank hall transformed into one of the city’s most elegant event venues. With its grand columns, dramatic vaults, and refined historic ambiance, the setting provides a fitting backdrop to honor the 2026 Outstanding Service Award and Founders Award recipients—leaders whose impact has shaped the international insolvency profession.  We are pleased to celebrate Chief Justice Geoffrey B. Morawetz as the 2026 Outstanding Service Award recipient and Steven T. Kargman as the 2026 Founders Award recipient

We hope you and your colleagues will join us in Montreal for a spectacular 26th Annual International Insolvency Conference.
