Bio:

Stine D. Snertingdalen is specialized in restructuring and insolvency, as well as financing.

She advises businesses in restructuring and refinancing matters, including in-court reconstruction proceedings, and she is often appointed administrator/trustee of bankruptcy estates. Her portfolio includes the administering the Norwegian passenger airline Flyr and a large international offshore company group.

Stine furthermore advice several of the largest financial institutions in Norway on a regular basis in their effort to minimize their losses in problem cases. Furthermore, Snertingdalen assists in negotiating and drafting national and international credit agreements, inter-creditor agreements and security documentation.

In assisting creditors, debtors, suppliers and financial institutions, as well as acting as administrator, Stine understands the various stakeholders involved in a restructuring negotiation/proceeding.

Stine is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association's working group on restructuring and insolvency law, and she has for many years now been a member of the Norwegian Advisory Council of Bankruptcy by appointment of the Justice Department. Stine was member of the reference group in the legislative process for a new Reconstruction Act (enacted in 2020). Stine is a member of CERIL.

Stine was a member of III Next Gen Class 1 (2012), and became full III member in 2018. She is currently co-chair of the III EMEA Committee.
