Bio:
I am a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland in Germany and Head of the German Restructuring & Insolvency practice. I do also co-head our Banking & Finance practice in Germany.
I have been advising in the area of restructuring and insolvency for more than 15 years, advising creditors, entities in distress and insolvency administrators during insolvency and debtor-in-possession proceedings and on the acquisition or the sale of assets of distressed companies. My specific focus are cross-border topics and proceedings.
I studied law at the University of Münster, hold a Ph.D. from Saarland University and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA / Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures de Gestion) from the European Institute at Saarland University. I am also a certified restructuring advisor (BRSI) and qualified as a Solicitor (admitted in England and Wales) in addition to my German admission as Rechtsanwalt.
I am a NextGen since 2019 and do currently serve as a member of the NextGen Executive Committee.
