I have been the Executive Director of the III since 2008 and before that I worked as the Accountant for III since its inception in 2000. I am currently a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia Before working for A&A that manages the III, I worked for the federal government in various budget and accounting positions, including budget analyst and operating accountant. I worked for the General Services Agency, The National Archives and the Office of Naval Research. I have an M.S. in Taxation from George Mason University and a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University. I have volunteered extensively, mainly as a treasurer for several different organizations, including, but not limited to, Knollwood Community Church, Kings Park Concert Band, All-Night Grad Party at Robinson High School and LinkAcross. I was also a Girl Scout Leader for 8 years and working with C.A.R.E. to set up a relationship with the Girl Scout Council of the Nations Capital to provide financial literacy programs.
