Bio:
Iacopo Donati is a tenure-track research fellow in corporate and insolvency law at Ca’Foscari University of Venice. He holds the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Business Law.
He is the author of several publications on corporate law, restructuring and insolvency law, and bank resolution. He has participated to various high-impact international, European, and national research projects. His most recent research interests mainly focus on shareholders’ rights in the context of restructuring and insolvency processes, directors’ liability, and proportionality in the legal framework for banks crisis management.
In 2014 he was admitted to the New York State Bar (USA) and to the Italian Bar. Over the years, he has developed specific experience in assisting and advising corporations, banks, and listed companies, as well as in judicial and arbitration matters relating to corporate, banking, and insolvency law.
