Guilherme Franca

Bio:

Guilherme França is an associate at the corporate reorganization and insolvency law boutique Lollato Lopes Rangel Ribeiro Advogados. He is currently an LLM candidate at Fordham University School of Law, where he also works as a research assistant on cross-border insolvency matters for Professor S. Block-Lieb. During his time in New York, Guilherme served with the Chambers of Hon. Elizabeth S. Stong at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Guilherme holds a bachelor's degree in law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2012). He has earned post-graduate diplomas in Restructuring and Bankruptcy from FADISP (2016) and Civil Procedural Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2015).

Guilherme has been involved in many high-profile cross-border cases and was recognized as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation (2020 and 2021). He has also authored and co-authored books and articles on insolvency and restructuring.
