Bio:
Justice Christopher Simard was appointed to the Court of King's Bench of Alberta on June 22, 2023. He is the Co-Chair of the Court's Commercial Duty Roster, which hears bankruptcy and restructing cases. Prior to his appointment, Justice Simard practised for 25 years at a major national law firm in Calgary, Canada, focusing on commercial bankrupty and restructuring.
