Anthony Lizárraga Vera-Portocarrero

Anthony Lizarraga Vera-Portocarrero joined Muñiz, Olaya, Meléndez, Castro, Ono & Herrera Attorney at Law in 2015 and became a partner in 2019, previously He worked in the Peruvian insolvency authority, INDECOPI. Anthony received his law degree from the Catholic University from Peru in 2008 and obtained an LLM in Corporate Law at University College London (UK) and ESAN University (Peru). Furthermore, he has law studies in La Sorbonne University (France); and, Charles III University (Spain).
Mr. Lizarraga is head of the insolvency and restructuring department at Muñiz, Olaya, Meléndez, Castro, Ono & Herrera Attorney at Law and has more than 13 years of significant experience advising banks, insolvency practitioners, creditors and debtors on restructuring, insolvency, bankruptcy, banking and distressed debt transactions in a range of industries including mining, property, pharmaceutical, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Mr. Lizarraga is recommended for Bankruptcy/Restructuring in Chamber and Partners. Anthony is also recommended for bankruptcy and restructuring in Leader League and The Legal 500.
