Alecia Johns

Bio:

Alecia Johns is Counsel in the Litigation and Restructuring department of Conyers Dill & Pearman LLP in the Cayman Islands. 

Alecia's practice areas include commercial litigation, contentious and non-contentious insolvency, civil fraud, asset tracing and recovery. She has acted on a number of seminal insolvency matters in the Cayman Islands involving, inter alia, advice to officeholders appointed over investment funds, cryptocurrency exchanges, and various other structures in a liquidation or restructuring process. 

Alecia also frequently advises and represents creditors and other stakeholders in liquidation proceedings in the Cayman Islands.

She has been ranked in a number of leading directories including Legal 500 as a Rising Star for over four years, and in Who's Who Legal as a Future Leader in Commercial Litigation (2022 and 2023). Alecia was also featured in Global Restructuring Review's Women in Restructuring (2023) and named in GRR 100 (2023).
