Cindi M. Giglio is widely recognized for her experience in litigation and transactional bankruptcy matters, working on a diverse range of in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Her clients include debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, equity owners, purchasers of distressed assets and other key constituents in restructuring and insolvency matters.

Cindi is highly skilled in corporate restructurings and has represented debtors, creditors, purchasers of assets and other parties-in-interest in all aspects of Chapter 11 cases. Additionally, she provides counsel on out-of-court restructurings, financings and assignments for the benefit of creditors, and negotiates and drafts first day pleadings, debtor-in-possession financings, plans of reorganization, disclosure statements, asset purchase agreements, agency agreements and settlement agreements.

Cindi has particular experience in bankruptcy litigation, having previously served as the lead restructuring attorney on an interdisciplinary team in relation to multibillion-dollar chapter 11 cases. In this role, she has litigated novel issues related to the application of the "safe harbors" in bankruptcy.

With a strong commitment to pro bono work, Cindi represents indigent clients in connection with the Her Justice organization and serves on the Junior Advisory Board. She also serves on the board of Brooklyn Defender Services.
