Raphael Nehin Corrêa has extensive experience in advising Brazilian and foreign clients on complex domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration. His litigation and arbitration practice include civil, contract, commercial, corporate and securities law disputes involving public and private corporations, as well as limited liability companies, covering a broad range of areas, including banking/finance, construction, infrastructure, real estate, pharmaceutical, agribusiness, retail, and telecommunication. He also focuses his practice on restructuring and insolvency advising banks, investment funds and strategic creditors on complex debt restructurings and reorganization proceedings with emphasis on the representation of creditors in debt restructurings and of investors in the acquisition of assets in the context of insolvency proceedings. Raphael also advises banks and clients in granting debtor-in-possession, exit and acquisition financing in debt restructurings. He also advises clients in administrative proceedings before the Brazilian Securities Commission (“CVM”), with a focus on sanctioning administrative proceedings and investigation proceedings involving public companies and their directors and officers. Raphael worked as foreign associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York.
